Frankfort Sportsman Club hosts one of the premier 5 stand courses in northern Illinois. With a total of 14 machines and 3 scissor lift, lighted for night shooting, it’s sure to provide you with many challenging hours of shooting.
The 5 stand is divided into 2 levels. The Green course consists of 6 machines, 2 which are on a 25’ scissor lift. This course was designed as a practice course, the menus and the machine do not move so to give new shooters something to practice on so they can build up their fundamentals and confidence.
The Red course consists of 8 totally different machines which also include 2 scissor lifts, this is our competition course. These targets are design to test even the most competent shooter. This course is what a 5 stand is truly about! All of the machines and the lifts are designed to be moved to any location at any time. Not only do the machine move, we also change the red course menus frequently during the year so you’ll never get tired of shooting the same old targets.
The other unique feature about Frankfort Sportsman Club and our 5 stand is our members can have input on target location. If there is a particular target presentation that’s giving you problems, you can contact the 5 Stand Chairman and upon approval, a machine can be moved to a different location or the whole course de-designed with your help!
